This Fall I journeyed to the beautiful Baltic, staying in Copenhagen to visit the National Museum of Denmark. And here, at last, I got up close and personal with solid gold and silver viking knit chain jewellery. Such a thrill to see the identical weaving techniques I create with today, used over 1500 years ago!
Also fascinating was this warrior's sword which was heated and bent, and buried with him. No-one else would be wielding it!
Amazing!

I love my travels, and it is a joy to be inspired by the beauty I see.
